Commercial general contractor in Mississauga — drywall, demolition and abatement.
Sofisa Group Inc. works out of Mississauga. Offices, industrial units, retail and medical space across Peel are our home ground — the crews, the equipment and the project managers are all based here, not dispatched across the province.
Drywall and framing, demolition and asbestos abatement are handled on the same contract. One contract, senior supervision on site, and one number to call when the schedule moves.
What we build in Mississauga
Mississauga's commercial stock is unusually mixed — 1970s and 1980s industrial bays a few minutes from newer office campuses, plazas being re-tenanted, and medical suites carved into buildings that were never drawn for them. Each of those needs a different approach to demising, fire separation and access, and the pricing follows from that rather than from a square-foot rate.
- Meadowvale and Airport Corporate Centre office stock
- Multi-unit industrial and warehouse space off Dixie, Tomken and Hurontario
- Retail and plaza units along Mississauga's main corridors
- Medical and professional suites in mixed-use buildings
- Older Peel building stock where a designated substance survey drives the sequence
Because the yard is in Mississauga, a site walk usually happens within days rather than weeks, and mobilisation does not carry travel into the price.

Mississauga commercial flood and mould rebuild
The early-September storm put water into buildings right across Peel. We take the work that comes after the water is out — stripping damaged materials, dealing with mould where it has started, and rebuilding the interior. Commercial and industrial property only.
See water damage restoration and flood rebuild and mould remediation and removal for what each covers.
For commercial fire and smoke damage, see our fire damage restoration in Mississauga.
Mississauga questions
Where is Sofisa based in Mississauga?
Mississauga, ON. That is our head office and the yard our team mobilises from, which is why Mississauga and the rest of Peel are short-notice territory for us.
What kind of Mississauga buildings do you work in?
Commercial and industrial: offices, industrial and warehouse units, retail, medical suites and institutional space. Work runs from a single tenant demising wall through to a full strip-out and rebuild.
Do you handle the trades on the same contract, or subcontract everything separately?
Drywall and framing, demolition and abatement are handled on the same contract. Everything sits under one contract with senior supervision on site, so the handover between scopes is a scheduling decision rather than a gap between two companies.
How fast can we get a price?
Send drawings or a scope. Most Mississauga jobs also get a site walk before the number is issued.
What is the difference between a commercial contractor and a commercial general contractor?
A commercial contractor often means a single trade. A commercial general contractor carries the whole scope under one contract and manages the sequence. Sofisa does both from our Mississauga base: we act as the general contractor and handle drywall, framing, demolition and asbestos abatement on the same contract rather than subcontracting them out.
What happens at a Mississauga site walk before you price?
A senior estimator walks the space with you, checks access, loading and freight elevator limits, reviews any designated substance survey and drawings, and confirms what has to stay operational. Because our yard is in Mississauga, the walk is easy to book, and the written price follows the walk.
